So my ‘friend’ Nick started this site to learn how to digitally paint. Good Idea. It’s a bloggy posty community thing.

I said to him.

“Hey, why don’t you open this up to other artist instead of hogging it all to yourself? Besides, don’t you already have like, 15 websites dedicated to you. about you, and for you. by you?

He promptly told me to shut up.

“Shut up”.

“That was my plan all along, I just wanted to get it rolling first”

Long story short. Nick has yet another site. (this one I actually go to). Its called 500 posts. I have some digital paintings up there too. If you are an artist or even not, I think it’s a great way to learn. It’s helped me quite a bit. http://500posts.com/

The comic Expo was great. Lotsa fun. I sold off a quarter of my portfolio. Thats a good thing, I’ll replace it with more current drawings. At first I was apprehensive about selling originals but reality sunk in right away as I said to myself. “RENT!, you must pay your rent”.

Wouldn’t it be super cool if you (I) could draw what you (I) wanted and it would become reality. I’d draw all my debt out the F%&^ing window. I’d draw my front teeth straight. I would draw a BIG weeping willow on my front lawn of a modest house that I owned and did not rent, and it sprouted 100 dollar bills whenever I walked by. Oh, and this tree also eats cats… and farts when door-to-door religion solicitors come by. Pet Rhinoceros , space ship, world peace… .. . .
